The Quickling tripped just as the Warlock finished his incantation. A sense of calm finally settled over the room as the newly enfeebled fey stared up at the caster. The Warlock grinned with pleasure at his obvious victory.
A few paces away the rogue muttered something about her perfectly set tripwire being the only reason the Warlock got his cast off in the first place. A bard, unnoticed by the others, stood nearby with his chest puffed out like a proud peacock. Despite this battle being over, he continues to strum his lute for the tired looking party. There were, after all, two more monsters to deal with, and he certainly wasn't going to do the heavy lifting.
